Llandudno Cable Car

Llandudno's cable car is the perfect way to reach the Great Orme's summit. The ride starts close to the base of the Great Orme in Happy Valley which is easily reached on foot or by car and is just a short distance from the promenade.

Visitors can purchase a single ticket to the summit complex or a return ticket for the ride back down. A good combination is to ride the Great Orme Tram on one leg of the journey and the cable car on the other.

The cable car journey is the longest cable car ride in Great Britain and rises to 615ft at the Great Orme's summit and along the way offers stunning views of Llandudno and the north Wales coastline.

For the photo conscious amongst you make sure your camera is at the ready for the lower part of the journey as this offers the best views of LLandudno Pier, Happy Valley, the town centre, and the Ski Slope.
